In this workshop you will learn the tools and techniques of handstands, arm-balances and smooth jump-throughs. We’ll break down different types of arm-balances and inversions (up-side-down poses) that are frequently occurring in Rocket and Ashtanga Yoga.
After a brief warm-up we dive deeper into techniques and modifications. We will use different tools, individually and in pairs.
In a playful manner you’ll be guided through poses like, Crane, Eight-angle-pose, EkaPada Galavasana, Open Headstand, Handstand etc. You will learn smooth transitions between poses that enables you to float through your practice.
It's quite common to have fears of falling over which hinders one from trying. With a steady hand and safe techniques,
I will guide you into these positions in a simple and secure way, based on individual experience and needs. You will discover the joy of being able to do poses that may seem very advanced, but are actually not that hard to master.
