This introductory workshop is a prerequisite for those who are planning to join our classes on an ongoing basis. During this workshop we will go through, both the theoretical side of a movement practice, what it is, and what it is not, as well as the practical side of things. We will start with a discussion about the structure of a movement practice, getting a general overview of the perspective. This will be done in a lecture format followed by an open discussion/Q&A. We at Practice Movement Stockholm believe it is important to come in to the group with a good mindset, therefore we take this opportunity to provide you with education on things such as; how to become a better student, how to take responsibility for your learning, how to be a good partner, how we work with the projects at hand as well as establishing a common terminology to be able to effectively communicate together. The last bit of the workshop we will practice some of the current research projects at hand, ranging from things such as strength, mobility, handstand, coordination and tactical games and more.
