Join us for OPENING NIGHT on Thursday, July 11th from 5-9pm at Argyle & Sheridan in Uptown. *Note: we are hosting this event every Thursday evening between July 11th and September 5th. One exception: we will NOT be hosting a market on Thursday, August 22nd.

The Thai Cultural and Fine Arts Institute (TCFAI) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Thai culture and fine arts. Since 1995, TCFAI has provided various programming in the Chicagoland area to educate and entertain diverse audiences.
7:15pm ALPHA AND THE PRINCES OF FUTA
Alpha and The Princes of Futa is a diverse group of musicians brought together by their love of music. Their music is rooted in the Fulani and Wolof cultures of West Africa, and they incorporate various world music influences. Their songs are written in Fulani, Wolof, French, and English, carrying messages of love, peace, and justice. During Alpha and The Princes of Futa performances, we always encourage our audience to celebrate with us through dancing and singing.

ABOUT THE MARKET:
Started in 2013, the Argyle Night Market is an annual event that features local food and retail vendors plus live cultural and musical performances on Thursday evenings each summer. Part market, part street festival, this event is located on Argyle, the city’s first shared street, hosted by Uptown United.
