🏒🎉 Arena Rising: Carolina Hurricanes Playoff Watch Party & Festival📍 Riverfront Park | 🗓 Saturday, April 25
Wilmington, we have the chance to create something very special for our families and community. As a non-profit our vision is simple: build a 10,000 seat multi-purpose arena for the community, by the community. A place that provides equal access to ice hockey and other sports, youth development programs, educational initiatives, concerts, major events, and year-round opportunities that bring our city together.
Join us at Riverfront Park for a high-energy Carolina Hurricanes playoff watch party and community festival as we rally behind our team and rally behind bringing professional ice hockey and basketball to Wilmington.
This event is a critical step forward in our vision. Proceeds will help us complete the financial modelling and economic impact portions of our third-party feasibility study, a key milestone that allows us to unlock endowment and institutional capital.
🏒 We expect there is a high probability that Game 4 of Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs will take place that evening (official NHL schedule pending confirmation). If so, we’ll be watching it together on a large outdoor screen along the riverfront!
🎶 The festival will feature:

• Food trucks and local vendors
• Interactive games and family-friendly activities
• Raffles and Auction
• A full playoff watch party experience
