If you need some musical meditation, come chant with us on the 2nd Saturday (except February) of the month at Oasis. Samadhi’s Rangadevi Dasi will lead a community kirtan, accompanied by friends, old & new.Doors open at 7:15 p.m., and the chanting starts at 7:30! The cafe closes during the performance, which starts at 7:30 p.m. The event is free, but donations are graciously accepted by cash or Venmo.
What is Kirtan?
Although the term kirtan is originally from India, we celebrate traditions from around the world that foster community gatherings centered around devotional call and response singing. Kirtan transforms the spirit, bringing us together, unifying our hearts and voices, sharing in the spirit. Because kirtan requires participation, WE NEED YOU!
2025 Oasis Kirtan events will be held on the second Saturday of the month at Oasis.
