Our bodies are constantly responding to an inner climate—shifts in sensation, energy, mood, and breath that influence how we move, how we breathe, and how present we are. In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll explore the idea of internal weather as a lived, embodied experience, and how different inner conditions shape our movement and awareness. We will explore a range of common internal weather states—such as sunny and clear, cloudy or overcast, windy, foggy, or stormy. Each inner “weather pattern” can be felt in the body in simple, everyday ways, influencing how we breathe, stand, and move. Rather than needing to interpret or change what’s present, we’ll focus on noticing how these states show up physically, how they shift, and how movement can support awareness and comfort. No prior experience with somatic movement is needed—just a willingness to sense and explore.
Throughout the workshop, we will move with the weather patterns, bringing them to life in the body through yoga and simple dance expressions. Using gentle prompts, we’ll explore how each inner state can be expressed, experienced, and allowed to shift—flowing naturally from one weather pattern to the next. The focus is on curiosity, embodiment, and attuning to our inner climate, supporting a sense of ease, resilience, and presence as the body and mind move together.
