Antoni O’Breskey, an Italian-born composer and pianist of Argentine heritage who has made Ireland his home, has spent five decades pushing the boundaries of music.
A trailblazing artist, he is widely acclaimed for pioneering piano improvisation within Irish traditional music and flamenco, blending these with jazz, blues, and classical influences to forge a uniquely expressive and genre-defying sound.
For this special performance, O’Breskey is joined by an exciting new quartet featuring leading figures in Ireland’s contemporary Trad and Folk scene: Paahto Cummins (Skipper’s Alley/Ispíní na hÉireann) on banjo, mandolin, tin whistle, Consuelo Nerea (Varo/Landless) on vocals and fiddle, and Ross Chaney (John Francis Flynn/Seamas Hyland) on synthesizers and drums.
Together, they will premiere new material from O’Breskey’s forthcoming 2026 album, alongside reimagined versions of the landmark compositions that have defined his groundbreaking career.
