About this Event
Following our successful 2 Unconferences in 2022 and 2023 focussed on reimagining HR, we want to build on these experiences and this UK Election year look through a different lens to build our manifesto for the People Profession.
We want to explore and reflect on the CIPD Manifesto for Good Work (CIPD, 2023) reimagining HR again – through the Manifesto and particularly looking at the interconnectivity of AI, sustainability and wellbeing and skilled, fair, and healthy work. We recognise that to build a skilled, fair and healthy society, HR practitioners and leaders need to consider the wider implications of our strategies and policies like developing our STEM capability, understanding intergenerational fairness and psychological and mental health and wellbeing.
How canwe re-imagine HR so that we, as HRM students and practitioners, can build our manifesto for the People Profession and embed it in our policies, strategies, programmes, and organisational cultures?
How can we build value in our wider community and society through our Manifesto?
We will use a mix of creative approaches to generate an innovative learning and reflective environment, including art and drama, and create a range of outputs to support knowledge exchange, further reflection, and research.
