About this Event
Description
In this introductory class students will learn how to use a couple of common dowsing tools through simple instruction and some fun group exercises. We will discuss the importance of intention and how to ask clear questions when starting a dowsing search. From there, we will explore how dowsing can be used for planning a garden, communing with the land, finding water, and enhancing emotional and spiritual wellness.
All are welcome, from beginners to those with some experience. A small library of dowsing books and resources will be on display and dowsing tools will be available to purchase after the class.
Professor: Lisa McCrory is an organic farmer/consultant, ceramic artist, dowser, and a Reiki and shamanic practitioner. She owns and operates Earthwise Farm & Forest with her family. There they produce organic milk, garlic, and cut flowers and offer on-farm workshops that include dowsing, land stewardship, and livestock husbandry. Lisa was first introduced to dowsing over 34 years ago, and she applies it in many facets of her daily life. She loves to share her knowledge and hopes to inspire more people to discover the many gifts of dowsing.
