About this Event

Join author Mandy Morton as she discusses the next great case for The No. 2 Feline Detective Agency –The Tabby in Black. Hettie and Tilly are on the case, unwrapping the mysteries swirling around the Catberry family in this bitter-sweet assortment of truth and lies.

Mandy Morton began her professional life as a musician. Her songwriting formed the basis of six albums during the 1970s and early 1980s, when she toured extensively with her band. More recently, she has worked as a freelance arts journalist for national and local radio, specialising in making music and theatre documentary. Her series, the No. 2 Feline Detective Agency, features Hettie Bagshot, a mac-wearing tabby cat who’s the founder of the detective agency, along with her able assistant, Tilly Jenkins. The world that Morton has created - Midsomer Murders meets The Wind in the Willows - is irresistible.

She will be in conversation with arts journalist, author and broadcaster Stephanie Mackentyre. She currently hosts the weekly Ruby Shoes Entertainment Show on Suffolk Sound Radio.
