We gently welcome Tony Vedanta Wilmot into our space for an evening of quiet depth and inner connection.
Recommended to me by members of our community, I recently met Tony and was immediately drawn to his calm, grounded presence… a softness and wisdom that feels both steady and deeply authentic. It felt like a natural invitation to ask him to share his practice with us.
This session will explore Mahat Yoga Pranayama — a subtle and powerful breath practice that guides awareness through the three regions of the breath: the belly, the ribcage, and the upper chest. Through gentle posture, mudra, mantra, and conscious breathing, we begin to reconnect with the quiet rhythm of prana… often described as the foundational language of breath and awareness.
We will begin with simple, mindful movement to prepare the body for stillness, before being guided into breathwork and seated practice. Silence will be softly woven throughout, creating space to listen inward… to rest… to simply be.
In honour of this inward journey, there will be no music — just the natural sound of breath and presence.
Tony’s teaching is rooted in decades of experience, influenced by Ashtanga Vinyasa, Iyengar, Dru and Satyananda Yoga, alongside meditation practices including Vipassana and Zazen.
Open to all — whether you are new to practice or returning home to it.
