About this Event

The collection, published in May by Elif Verlag, contains poems in Arabic and German that are combative, bitter, and delicate, abstract, and yet at times intimately close to the loving, reflective poetic self.

The reading will be in Arabic and in German translations (by Leila Chammaa and Kerstin Wilsch). The conversation between Dima Albitar Kalaji and Annika Reich, who wrote the afterword, will be conducted in English.

In cooperation with Weiter Schreiben.
