American Academy of Ballet Performance Awards

The American Academy of Ballet Performance Awards are an internationally recognised awards system performed in front of an audience where dancers perform set exercises and dances in front of an AAB adjudicator. The dancers will be awarded medals and certificates with the possibility of gaining a scholarship to the summer intensive programme in New York if they receive top marks.

An interesting combination of a traditional ballet exam mixed with a competition style performance. Dancers gain stage experience, learn how they cope under pressure and also get to enjoy performing the beautiful choreography.
