Cecil AM is back, and we’re kicking off the season with PRISMA’s very first DJ set and a special live show at midnight from rising hyperpop star Cevil – all at our Opening Night on Friday, February 7th. We hope to see you all for a big party!Prisma have already conquered countless venues and festivals in DK and beyond, and we’re thrilled to watch them unfold their musical universe as they launch their DJ journey. Our opening night lineup also features a live show by CEVIL - when the clock strikes midnight, she’ll unleash her twisted and playful pop universe for you all. Before the midnight show, DJ Popup will heat things up, ensuring you’re warm, sweaty, and ready for the rest of the night. Vicarage guarantees we’ll be closing this evening right.
◌ PRISMA ◌
PRISMA consists of the sisters Sirid and Frida, who took the danish music industry by storm in 2021 after a row of amazing concerts and their first releases. Since then they have established themselves as an uncompromised act, who does breathtaking concerts and who recently stole hearts with the release of their debut album ‘Something To Respond To’ in the spring of 2024. They have recently taken an interest in DJing, and we’re very proud of setting the stage of their DJ debut.
◌ CEVIL ◌
With uncompromising pop music with a hint of retro and hyperpop, CEVIL draws inspiration from diverse corners of the musical world. From St. Vincent to HAIM and Caroline Polachek, CEVIL’s influences revolve around an anti-fabricated sound that radiates integrity - an integrity that shines clearly through CEVIL’s own catalog. A year after releasing her first single, CEVIL dropped her debut EP, FREAK, in December ‘24. The EP was highlighted by Soundvenue as one of the week’s most important releases, and Soundvenue has since named CEVIL one of the 15 Danish artists to watch in 2025.
◌ DJ POPUP ◌
The last time Popup played at AM, it was together with his Aarhus posse, Safe Recordings. We’re thrilled to have him back behind the booth, this time solo, as we know he’ll bring those groovy beats. Popup is heavily influenced by the British club scene’s deep garage and house, seamlessly blending hidden club gems with warm, Danish house tracks. The result is a flavorful mix with maximum dancefloor potential. Popup’s idealistic approach to creating an inclusive party atmosphere will be both heard and felt by everyone on the dancefloor.
◌ VICARAGE ◌
Since their debut Above This in 2016, the Danish/Icelandic house duo Vicarage (Playground Scandinavia, Varano Records, etc.) has been releasing warm-blooded, pulsating house bangers and remixes (Diane Charlamagne, Communions, etc.), while headlining gigs and DJ sets in Copenhagen’s nightlife. Their sound is rooted in Underground House, Chicago/Ghetto House, and UK Garage. Vicarage celebrated the release of their latest track, Speed Bump (Vicarage - Speed Bump), with a DJ set alongside Jungle (UK) at Cecil AM in 2023 - we are thrilled to bring them back for another energetic set.
