✨ One year of ALT POC — let’s celebrate together! ✨
Come join us for a special summer link-up in Victoria Park to mark the one-year anniversary of the ALT POC group — a growing, joyful community for people of colour who love alternative music, gigs, art, fashion, and culture.
Featuring a special appearance from Lilith Ai — one of the UK’s freshest alt POC artists.
This event is a chance to:
- Meet up IRL with people from the group
- Chill in the park and soak up some sunshine
- Get creative — take pics, film content, and celebrate each other’s work
- Dress in an alt look, with this year’s theme: ALT POC ICONS
Come as your fave alt POC icon — or come as yourself, because you ARE the icon. No pressure — wear whatever makes you feel good.
🎶 After the end of the event, we’ll also head to a free/low-cost music event in the evening nearby (details TBC), so we get the best of both worlds: sunshine and sound.
💖 Whether you’ve come to previous meetups or you’ve just joined, this space is for all of us. Come through, bring snacks, bring a blanket, bring a friend — and let’s celebrate one year of alt community, friendship, and creativity.
