Come jam with Aloha Uke Squad in Sports Basement, Stonestown Galleria!
We’re thrilled to share happy singing and strumming with you on this first Sunday of June at 1:00 PM.
This is the last jam of our 2026 Winter-spring AUJ series and it will be all OPEN MIC'S from you, our ukulele community! This is your time to shine. Play a favorite song of yours or choose one from the AUJ packet. Share an original song you have written yourself.
We’ll provide mics, instrument D-Boxes, stage monitors and PA. Small groups, please: solos, duets, trios, up to four musicians.
Open Mic time slots are filling fast so claim a slot for youself soon by emailing [email protected].
Bring your ukulele, your music stand (or tablet device-on-a-stand) and a smile ☺.
We meet in the Community Room in the left-rear of the store. Chairs are provided and restrooms are located near the registers in the front of the store. Let's spread the joy of playing music together 🎶.
>>> Mark your calendar...the 2026 will be on July 4th in beautiful Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco. This year's theme is PEACE, LOVE AND UKULELE. And the very next day (7/5) in Stonestown Sports Basement there will be a special after-festival event with Ukulenny topping off a jam-packed weekend of ukulele!
>>> In August (8/2) we will begin a new, 4-month 2026 Autumn AUJ series with a new packet of exciting songs!
🌴 Practicing at home (especially if you're able to go “off page”) will facilitate your learning and improve your proficiency. You’ll be rewarded with a richer experience when jamming together. Check out these play-along recordings in keys matching songs in the current AUJ packet. For play-along recordings of songs from all prior AUJ's which are in the back of your jam packet .
About the current 2026 Winter-spring AUJ Packet and AUJ Public Folder
The new packet has a dozen new uke chord charts in the front. In the back is a hana hou section with all 36 charts from prior AUJ series so it supersedes the previous packet. If you will be printing the new packet, you may save yourself some time by only printing the first 14 pages (cover, new chord charts and Hana Hou TOC page) and the last page (“Hawaii Aloha” chord chart) then reuse your old packet charts to make yourself an alphabetical hana hou section. The new packet and all play-alongs can be found in the AUJ Public Folder here
This link will never change and its contents will be kept up-to-date. From time to time it will have special-purpose charts too.
