About this Event
Come join us for a one-off Festive meetup for estranged and care experienced students based in London, or back for the holidays. This gathering is a chilled out group cooking evening with lots of food, drinks and an opportunity to feel part of a community.
On the day: We are meeting at 5pm on Monday 22nd December in the main reception of Scape Shoreditch Student Apartments, 45 Brunswick Place, London, N1 6DX - we'll then all head up to the Common Room together. (Google map pin-point is https://maps.app.goo.gl/b2qpfWdmQJ7NWjx3A). Nearest tube station: Old Street, a 3-minute walk away and the closest step-free stations are Hoxton Station and Shoreditch High Street Station, both overground. (A bus can then be taken to get closer to Scape if needed.)
What to expect: There will be refreshments and lots of tasty food and snacks. Feel free to wear a Christmas Jumper or something joyful! We also have Christmas Crackers and Candy Canes and lots of chocolate! We will have plenty of food but feel free to bring something to share if you like, as we have a kitchen on site.
Make sure to mark your calendars and invite any other estranged or care experienced friends along (get them to grab a free ticket too!) for a relaxing evening and a chance to hang out with people who get it.
