ALEC SHAW: www.alecshawmusic.com/
"Alec Shaw is a singer/songwriter and producer born and raised in the beautiful state of Washington, in the foothills of the cascades. His dad who was a gospel musician gave Alec his first guitar at age 11. At 17 Alec pieced together a band through craigslist after finishing his debut album “Car Town” a collection of Alec’s first songs he wrote in highschool where he spent the least amount of time possible actually being in school and most of his time daydreaming and writing. Released in 2016, Car Town landed the band their first gig at Neumos, Seattle playing for the Seattle Children’s Hospital benefit concert “Love Seattle” which launched Alec into the Seattle underground scene as a notable new artist. In 2017, Alec’s shows promoting his second album “Uhh Oh And The Oh Wells” caught the attention of local producers with further developments in his vocals and arranging abilities. One of these producers was Andy Park who had recently established himself with credits like Pedro The Lion, Noah Gunderson, Macklemore, and Dave Mathews. Andy helped Alec shape his third album “Thinking Place” Which features more introspective, ethereal and focused songs. Their collaboration proved to find a sound that was becoming uniquely his combining soulful and folky vocals soaring above swimming instrumentation. This album, in time with a live version of the single “Fools Gold” featuring a gospel choir, shined more light on Alec in the national eye of the music industry, garnering Record Label interest and praise from KEXP’s Hall of Fame DJ Marco Collins, and Kevin Cole, Artists Like Allen Stone, Wanz, and Robert Glasper, NPR and ABC network. in 2020 while set to play a slew of sold out shows, festivals and showcases Alec’s underground rise to the surface was frozen in it’s tracks by the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, putting an abrupt pause on management and label negotiations. During 2020 Alec shifted his focus on recording, producing an album for The Voice finalist and long time collaborator Zan Fiskum. Along with recording projects for other artists, Alec spent the “down time” working on his fourth studio album “Quantity” set to release in 2021 featuring his most creative and dramatic work to date. He also spent time as a contestant on ABCs American Idol and Joined Common’s new artist collective “Stardust Kids” at the beginning of 2021. "

JACOB MILLER: www.jacobmillermusic.net/
"Wisconsin native Jacob Miller left his hometown for Portland, OR the summer of 2009 via Amtrak, bringing with him only a suitcase and an electric guitar. After one year in the city he left to travel North America, both to study and perform music while working on various farms and ranches between travels. Time spent as a farm hand in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina shaped his devotion to the finger-picking style of the region. Spending countless hours playing alongside vintage recordings and local old-timers in the surrounding areas of Appalachia, Miller delved into the inner workings of the music’s style and history.
After 7 years leading a jazz sextet and performing both internationally and throughout North America, Miller now focuses his efforts on a different kind of songwriting and storytelling. Whether it be playing for thousands at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall or for 15 people in a Midwest living room, Jacob's passion, voice and laid-back demeanor create an intimate connection with audiences far and wide.
With an affinity for minimalist pop and firm roots planted in American traditional music, Jacob Miller crafts a timeless sound unique to his voice, style and abilities.
In 2019, Jacob released and toured his debut record, ‘This New Home,’ across America and Europe to much acclaim. In 2020, Miller was also a featured performer on NBC’s The Voice; working with Nick Jonas and James Taylor.
In May 2020, Jacob released two singles to follow up his debut album. “Quarantine,” out now, is a collaborative project accomplished through isolation during the period of COVID-19 and shelter-in-place. It features 2 new singles, an accompanying music video, and a cast of PNW artists."
