Gina Williams-Ghouse is a Balladong, Whadjuk, Goreng (Noongar) woman with links to the Gitja people of the East Kimberley. She is an award-winning singer-songwriter who brings modern takes on ancient Noongar language, using powerful storytelling, musical brilliance and beautiful songs. Her music and message is a celebration of life. This show will mark the official launch of a double-LP vinyl-only release “Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse Live at The Ellington”. Recorded almost exactly two years ago in July 2024, the 17-song album captures an occasion that will never be repeated following the passing in November 2025 of Gina’s husband and musical partner Guy Ghouse.
That record, like this gig, features the extraordinary backing of Russell Holmes (piano and keyboard), Dr Nick Abbey (bass) and Dr Daniel Susnjar (drums).
They will be joined on stage by special guests including Daniel Drieberg, Lucky Oceans, Luci Poy and Rupert John.
Join Gina and band as they celebrate the launch of this highly anticipated record, and immortalise Guy’s legacy.
