Akustika returns with Akustika – The Acoustic Club, an intimate concert that celebrates the richness and versatility of acoustic music. Born from a shared love for stripped-back arrangements and live musicianship, Akustika brings together Janice Debattista, Jean Claude Vancell, Isabel Camilleri, Malcolm Bonnici, Antonio Olivari, Karl Lewis, Joseph Axiak, Sean Borg, Samuel Aquilina, and Luke Vella Clark. The ensemble first came together through the renowned Strummin’ concerts and has continued to evolve, most recently performing together last year.This marks Akustika’s 11th concert — a continuation of an ongoing musical journey shaped by experience, collaboration, and storytelling through sound. The programme features acoustic reinterpretations of rock classics, jazz standards, and Maltese music, presented within a warm, vintage club-inspired atmosphere that encourages close listening and connection.
