AI, Numeracy and Social Mobility: Report Launch

Join Policy Connect, businesses of the National Numeracy Leadership Council, and KPMG for the launch of "AI, Numeracy and Social Mobility", a new research report examining what the use of AI means for numeracy skills and social mobility across the UK. The report explores whether people have the numeracy skills they need to engage with AI tools confidently and critically, what the consequences of that gap are for education, employment and social mobility, and what can be done about it.

At this event, we will present the report's key findings and policy recommendations, followed by a discussion with an esteemed panel on what it will take to act on them. The session is designed for policymakers, educators, business leaders and anyone interested in numeracy, AI and social mobility.

The report was commissioned by KPMG and developed with the businesses of the National Numeracy Leadership Council.
