SYNOPSIS

Come along and join the BCS data management team as we review the last year and set the agenda for the year ahead, based on the most important topics of interest to the data community.

As an appetiser we will hear from Kurt Roosen, FBCS to discuss not how AI needs good data but how AI can help data managers to improve the quality and value of their data.



SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Kurt Roosen is based in the Isle of Man, he is a seasoned freelance consultant and Senior Advisor to the EDM Association.

With over 38 years of experience as an IT professional, he now advises the EDMA, a global trade association dedicated to advancing the practice of data management and analytics as a business priority through standards, best practices, and training. As a Fellow of the BCS, and a former Chairman of BCS Council and Trustee, he is uniquely positioned to speak to this audience of peers.

His practical experience, including his former role as Head of Innovation at Digital Isle of Man, provides a real-world perspective on the complex challenges this presentation will address, particularly from his work architecting Data Asset Foundations (Data Stewardship Corporate Entities) for the Isle of Man Government
