Remotely Social is a new concept for freelancers, founders and remote workers who miss the best part of office life: the people. These events are shaking up London’s WFH culture with casual networking, real conversations and actual fun.

Our mission is to bring back the social side of working, which made work fun and built real friendships. With so many people WFH, we have lost the spontaneous after work pint, the mid morning rant and those stupid office chats that that turned into finding your best friend, future partner or co-founder.

This time, we’re taking over The Bear’s Den, the private basement bar at the legendary Pub On The Park, one of Hackney’s most loved pubs overlooking London Fields. Expect casual after-work drinks, great music, and plenty of chances to meet new people building cool things.

In 2020 Dan decided he wanted more than a 9-5, and launched his podcast career focused around mental health. His podcast was the catalyst for a career that would take him to radio presenting, film acting and even onto the airwaves of BBC Radio 1.

Dan will share behind-the-scenes stories from his inspiring journey, how he turned passion into a career through hard work and determination, and actionable tips for anyone dreaming of starting a podcast or growing their personal brand through audio.
