About this Event
AfroYanga is a special occasion to inspire and celebrate Migrants, Asylum Seekers, Refugees of African descent through insightful discussions and workshops, professional networking (career fair) and an Afro-themed entertainment with food, music, and drinks.
Launched by Living Free UK in 2022, AfroYanga saw a huge success in both attendance (over 50 LGBTQ+ Migrants i.e students, graduates & professionals etc) and participation from NGOs & high-profile community campaigners and Speakers such as Moud Goba (She/Her) (UK Black Pride and Micro Rainbow), Ana Gonzalez (She/Her) (Wilsons LLP), Rev. Jide Macauley (He/Him) (House of Rainbow CIC) and Marc Thompson (He/Him) (PrEPSter) etc.

All Day Pass - Community Admission (Choose this ticket to attend to all 4 segments of the Event
Networking Fair - to join from 4pm the Networking Fair segment as a Guest (LGBTQ+ Migrant or Ally). You will have a chance to network with a range of LGBT+ organizations as well as company and agencies from the Creative Industry.
AfroYanga Live - Event including Keynote speeches, performances, talks and workshops. This ticket has limited capacity available
AfroYanga Extravaganza Ballroom & Lypsing - Event involving a creative set of competition in celebration of queer joy, fashion and talent.
