About this Event
Tanyora — aka Tany is a Haitian dancer, teacher, and choreographer making waves in NYC.
By day, she’s an architect. But at her core, she moves through life with rhythm, purpose, and cultural pride. Rooted in Haitian dance and shaped by a mix of Afro/Caribbean street styles, her journey has taken her across the globe — performing, teaching, and building community.
She’s danced with Adekunle Gold, Uncle Waffles, and Victony, and for the past 3 years, she’s been the lead choreographer for the BAYO Festival!
Through Afrohouselab and NANM Dance Company, she shares AfroHouse/Kuduro, uplifts Haitian culture, and mentors the next generation of dancers.
Tany isn’t just dancing — she is impacting, and is one of the trailblazers in the NYC Afro dance scene!
