Info: Ola Wright is the CEO of WATO, she has spearheaded several regional initiatives aimed at boosting travel and tourism among West African countries.
She has led projects such as:
The West Africa Integrated Travel (WAIT) initiative, designed to promote inter‐travel and joint marketing within the region.
The West Africa Ecotourism Network (WAEN), meant to build sustainable tourism capacity across ecotourism stakeholders.
She is active globally, working as a tourism consultant for destinations in West Africa and liaising with governments, industry bodies and global associations.
