5:00 PM: Kemetic Yoga with Miss Daisy
Miss Daisy is a passionate yoga teacher who has immersed herself in the practice for six years. Her yoga journey began as a personal exploration for well-being and anxiety management, inspiring her to share her wisdom with others. Nearing the completion of her international yoga certification, Miss Daisy teaches on behalf of The Red Ma’at Collective, embracing growth and expansion. As she evolves, so do her dreams, moving with the wind that guides her path.
Program Description: Join Miss Daisy for a transformative Kemetic Yoga session, blending ancient Egyptian practices with modern wellness techniques. This class focuses on mindful movement, breathwork, and alignment, creating a grounding and empowering experience. Kemetic Yoga, rooted in African heritage, promotes holistic healing and spiritual awakening, providing a space to connect deeply with your body and inner self. 6:00 PM: The Divine Mother (Isis) Healing
For thousands of years, the ancient wisdom of the Kemetic Temples has been hidden and preserved through the initiatic camps of the African bush. The knowledge of the Divine Mother (Goddess Aishat/Isis) and her role in healing is essential for Kemetic Priests in traditional medicine today. Join us as an Initiate of The Earth Center (Kebtah Temples) shares a unique presentation on Indigenous Family Healing, Motherhood, and the original role The Divine Mother (Goddess Aishat) plays in society, then and now.
Presenter: Repiyah Hentkheprah Ms. Upiomoh has received several awards for her work as a cultural consultant, African Indigenous Educator, financial educator, cultural entrepreneur, organizational consultant, engaging public speaker, author, and storyteller. Her work focuses on assisting people, communities, and organizations in bridging the gap between traditional knowledge, business, entrepreneurship, and current financial literacy to achieve economic prosperity while preserving their cultural history, heritage, and identity. Ms. Upiomoh uses Indigenous wisdom teachings and instructions to help businesses, leaders, directors, and employees accomplish their primary corporate goals. Her work helps to establish families, communities, and well-rounded individuals who are spiritually strong, cognitively healthy, financially stable, and psychologically balanced, allowing them to live harmonious lives.

Healing Justice through Meditation and Creative Writing with Tai Salih
Tai Salih (she/her), E-RYT® 500, YACEP®, is an unapologetic intersectional pan-African abolitionist and fierce womanist from Sudan who came to Canada as a refugee at 11. A multi-disciplinary social and healing justice educator and facilitator, she dismantles oppressive systems through roles as an integrative counselor, social justice advocate, anti-oppression educator, former wellness ambassador with Lululemon, and emergency response reservist with the Canadian Red Cross. Tai’s mission is rooted in decolonization and radical empowerment of marginalized communities. Her compassionate, intersectional approach uplifts and empowers BI&WoC and gender-expansive individuals through wellness, therapeutic yoga, and trauma healing education, fostering resilience and autonomy.
Program Description: Join Tai Salih for a profound healing session that integrates meditation, creative writing, healing justice, and trauma care. This workshop combines mindfulness practices with expressive writing to help participants process emotions, release tension, and cultivate inner peace. Tai’s guidance creates a safe and supportive environment for self-exploration and healing, drawing on the rich traditions of African Indigenous knowledge and storytelling. This session aims to empower participants to find their voice, heal from trauma, and build resilience through the transformative power of words, meditation, and a holistic approach to trauma care and healing justice.
About The Red Ma’at Collective: The Red Ma’at (pronounced ‘Muh-aht’) Collective, a registered not-for-profit founded in 2015, is dedicated to creating healing-centered, inclusive spaces for BIPOC youth and women in the Greater Toronto Area. Focused on anti-oppressive, empowering environments for Black, Indigenous, and racialized youth, women, femmes, and non-binary individuals, we foster community and offer healing-centered spaces affected by patriarchy, sexism, and misogynoir. Through intentional breathwork and collective journeys towards liberation, we celebrate voices and nurture resilience.
