African Arts in the Park Cultural Festival Postponed
African Arts in the Park Cultural Festival, originally scheduled for September 14th and 15th, will be postponed. This decision was not made lightly, but after much consideration, we believe it is necessary to ensure that the event is of the highest quality.
Our goal has always been to provide an unforgettable experience that honors the richness and vibrancy of African arts and culture. To achieve this, we need a bit more time to secure the necessary funding and resources that will allow us to deliver a festival that meets our vision and your expectations.
We deeply appreciate your understanding and support during this time. We are committed to bringing you a top-notch event that celebrates our heritage in the best possible way, and we can’t wait to share the new dates with you soon.

What is African Arts in the Park?
African Arts in the Park Tampa is dedicated to the presentation of an often-under-marketed cultural benefit that Tampa has to offer residents and visitors. African arts of all genres, inclusive of performing arts, visual arts, creative arts, handcrafts, culinary delights and language arts will be on display, performed, and/or demonstrated for the purpose of showcasing its connection to a variety of art forms embraced today in America.
The festival will bring a wide array of artists and vendors and nonprofit organizations together for a weekend of education and celebration. This festival is admission free, it is open to the public, and is handicap accessible. As the host of African Arts in the Park – Tampa, Uyoyaa’s mission is to bridge and unify diverse cultures through education, the various branches of creative activity, culture, and heritage.
