About this Event

Join us for our upcoming meeting on the King’s Maudsley Partnership Community of Practice. Hear from Professor Philip Shaw, Director of King’s Maudsley Partnership and Head of Department – Child & Adolescent Psychiatry King’s College London; Dr Bruce Clark, Consultant Psychiatrist & Clinical Director CAMHS South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and other senior clinical academics.


The Communities of Practice aims to support connections and collaboration between clinical and academic teams across the King’s Maudsley Partnership for Children and Young People (KMP CYP). These communities bring together clinicians and academics to develop innovative, impactful clinical research and to think about translation of research into practice. They will shape the focus of the Kings Maudsley Partnerships' work to improve knowledge, understanding and create connections and opportunities for collaboration.


Event details:

- The event will be 4 hours long, taking place between 1 PM TO 5 PM.

- Final agenda and joining instructions sent a few days before the event

- Please book via Eventbrite to reserve your place

Who can sign up:

The community of practice is open to all Trust CAMHS staff ; N&S (National & Specialist) services as well as borough based teams and all academics working on CYP related issues across IoPPN, within Child & Adolescent Psychiatry department and beyond.
During these sessions you will have the opportunity to hear about exciting clinical and academic developments as well as participate in workshop discussions to consider the focus of future research and funding opportunities. There will be opportunities for networking with colleagues who share an interest and expertise on these topics.
