About this Event
GREEN SKETCHING:
FREE all-weather outdoor sketching at Nature’s Throne, Middlesex Filter Beds Nature Reserve, by the River Lea.
SUNDAY 12 MAY 10:30-12:30 Adults only - No experience necessary! Suitable for beginners.
Booking required.
Spending time immersed in the landscape and drawing from observation means seeing and noticing nature in ways we just don't do otherwise. To give time and attention and respond by drawing helps to create a deeper awareness of and connection to the natural world.
Green Sketching is particularly suited to beginners or those who lack confidence in drawing, the process and experimental attitude is key rather than the end result. However, those with more experience are also welcome to explore this approach to outdoor sketching.
This session will run whatever the weather, so appropriate clothing and footwear is essential.
All art materials and equipment are provided.
