Y gynulleidfa darged ar gyfer y gweithdy hwn yw actorion proffesiynol. Mae'n dderbyniol i artisitiaid llais ymuno ond rhaid iddynt gofio bod y sgil o actio yn hanfodol i allu gweithio mewn ADR gan gynnwys y sgil o fyrfyfyrio.

Nod y gweithdy yw dod ag actorion i lefel lle maent yn barod i weithio mewn grŵp ADR proffesiynol.

Ein nod yw addysgu'r technegau a'r wybodaeth sydd eu hangen i weithio'n broffesiynol mewn ADR. Ar ôl mynychu'r gweithdy, dylai mynychwyr ddeall yr holl sgiliau sy'n ofynnol ar gyfer actio ADR. Byddwn yn rhoi'r lle iddynt ymarfer technegau ADR mewn amgylchedd hamddenol a chefnogol gyda'r nod o adael y gweithdy gyda hyder yn eu gallu i dderbyn archeb broffesiynol.

Yn syml, amcan y gweithdy yw paratoi mynychwyr ar gyfer trylwyredd sesiwn ADR grŵp fel y gallant dderbyn archeb yn hyderus a chwblhau'r swydd i lefel uchel, gan sicrhau archebion pellach yn y dyfodol.

Dylai mynychwyr fod yn barod i gymryd nodiadau.... p'un ai ar ddyfais neu lyfr nodiadau. Bydd geirfa o dermau yn cael ei anfon cyn y cwrs. Byddwn hefyd yn rhoi gwybod i'r mynychwyr os oes cyfnod penodol y mae angen iddynt ymchwilio. Mae iaith y cyfnod, a'r gallu i fyrfyfyrio ynddi, yn hollbwysig mewn ADR Grŵp.

David John

Mae David wedi gweithio fel actor ADR ers dros 20 mlynedd ac wedi bod yn cyfarwyddo sesiynau ers dros 10 mlynedd. Bu'n Arweinydd Cwrs yng ngweithdy ADR Academi Louis Elman am 10 mlynedd ac felly mae'n dod â chyfoeth o brofiad a gwybodaeth am ADR.

Mae'n Drysorydd Anrhydeddus Equity ac wedi bod yn aelod gweithiol ers dros 45 mlynedd. Mae gan Equity gytundebau gyda PACT a'r holl gwmnïau teledu a Streamers ac mae'r cyfraddau yn weddus ac yn mynd i fyny yn rheolaidd. Os cynigir gwaith ADR cyfreithlon, bydd actor yn cael ei dalu'r gyfradd Equity sy'n diogelu eu hawliau yn ogystal â gwarantu'r gyfradd y cytunwyd arno. Mae cwmnïau teledu a chwmnïau ffilm wedi llofnodi cytundebau Equity ac ni allant dalu llai na'r cyfraddau y cytunwyd arnynt. Felly, argymhellir aelodaeth Equity yn fawr.

The target audience for this workshop is professional actors. It is acceptable for a Voice Over artist to join but they must bear in mind that the skill of acting is crucial to be able to work in ADR including the skill of improvisation.

The workshop aims to bring actors up to a level where they are ready to work in a professional ADR group.

Our aim is to teach the techniques and knowledge required to work professionally in ADR. After attending the workshop attendees should understand all the skills that are required of an ADR actor. We will give them the space to practice ADR techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment with the aim of them leaving the workshop with confidence in their ability to accept a professional booking.

Quite simply the objective of the workshop is to prepare attendees for the rigours of a group ADR session so that they can confidently accept a booking and complete the job to a high level ensuring further future bookings.

Attendees should be prepared to take notes…. whether on a device or a notebook. A glossary of terms will be sent out before the course. We will also let attendees know if there is a particular period that they need to research. Period language, and the ability to improvise in it, is of paramount importance in Group ADR.

David John

David has worked as an ADR actor for over 20 years and has been directing sessions for over 10 years. He was the Course Leader at the Louis Elman Academy ADR workshop for 10 years and as such bring a wealth of experience and knowledge of ADR.

He’s the Honorary Treasurer of Equity and has been a working member for over 45 years. Equity have agreements with PACT and all the TV companies and Streamers and the rates are decent and go up on a regular basis. If offered legitimate ADR work an actor will be paid the Equity rate which protects their rights as well as guarantees the agreed rate. TV companies and Film companies have signed up to Equity’s agreements and cannot pay less than the agreed rates. Equity membership is therefore highly recommended.

CULT Cymru workshops are delivered in a friendly and non-threatening environment where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and raise issues during the day.

Cancellation and Refunds Policy

A full refund will be issued to delegates who cancel at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Delegates who cancel within the 2 week period will not be eligible for a refund unless we are able to find someone else to take their place. Please let us know as soon as possible if you find you're no longer able to attend the workshop.
