Pottery in the Park workshop: Make a pressed flower dish | Cardiff

Looking for a relaxing, creative experience in Cardiff?

Join Amy from Sprig Studio for a hands-on pottery workshop in the beautiful surroundings of Bute Park, where you’ll create your own ceramic pressed flower dishes to cherish forever!

• All materials and tools
• Step-by-step tuition (perfect for beginners)

• Kiln firing, glazing and UK postage of your finished pieces

First, you'll learn simple clay techniques to create your own ceramic dish (either two trinket dishes or one larger piece). You'll use fresh and/or dried flowers and foliage to create striking imprints from nature.

After a relaxed break with refreshments from the Secret Garden Café, you’ll decorate your pieces using underglazes and textures to make them unique.

Your finished work will be professionally fired, glazed and posted to you after the workshop.
