About this Event
Who: Jasmine and Eliza (Watershed Stewardship Program Corpsmembers) are partnering with the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County for this volunteer event.
Where: The pond entrance is located on Delaware Ave between Natural Birdges Drive and Shaffer Rd. Follow the siges posted at the Antonelli Pond trailhead to find us!
Parking: Park anywhere along Delaware Ave between Swanton Blvd and Shafer Rd.
What to bring: Closed toed shoes, water bottle, long pants/shirt, sun/rain protection.
What we provide: Free coffee/snacks, safety gear, water, and an epic time!

Introduction talk
Info: We will give an introduction into who we are and why we are working to restore Antonelli Pond! We will also provide a land acknowledgement, invasive species and watershed health talk, and safety briefing.

Work time
Info: Volunteers will alternate between English ivy removal and trash cleanup around the designated work site. We will have ample opportunities for rest, snacks, and shade breaks during work time.
🕑: 01:00 PM - 01:30 PM
Clean-up and closing circle
Info: Volunteers will help pile up pulled English ivy, consolidate trash, and return tools . We will have a brief closing circle and send volunteers on their way.
