She will talk about her new guide, Birds of Santa Cruz, followed by a birding stroll through the park to look at birds. Brinker's book is a charming, full-color guide to the birds of Santa Cruz infused with California coastal soul and the quiet fierceness of love one can only derive from ardent attention.
