Acrylicize presents JOY 2026 (FIRST PHASE LINE UP REVEALED)
Our first phase lineup sees the return of last year’s showstopper Harriet Richardson with a comedic-meets-artistic performance, while legendary designer Anthony Burrill takes over The Art House screen print bed. FatBoy Zine host a full kitchen takeover, welcoming artist Olivia Sterling, and iconic performance artist Harold Offeh joins the festival programme. Elsewhere, Manchester-based artist Donnie O’Donnell leads model making and painting workshops, while NTS resident DJ Anu hosts a comic-making workshop. There’ll also be charm making with artist Hannah Lim, a beautiful communal mending circle with Selina Latour, and, of course, fellow Art House programme partners Tummy Ache, Worms and Artizine joining the party too. And that’s only the beginning - with much more still to be announced.
Early bird tickets are running low, book now for daytime and evening programmes to guarantee your spot for JOY 2026.

Led by curiosity and shaped by play, JOY is a creative gathering - one that invites artists, designers, curators, and cultural explorers to engage, experiment, and exchange ideas through a dynamic in-person programme of talks, workshops, and immersive experiences.
Whether you’re a culture seeker, or a seasoned creative professional, JOY offers a unique chance to explore the intersection of art, design, identity, and innovation, through an international programme - all at one of East London’s most popular venues.
As well as a packed programme of artists, storytellers, and creative pioneers, the Acrylicize studio will be full of creativity for all ages. Expect screenprinting, performances, poetry, creative challenges, and an exhibition - plus a behind-the-scenes look at our global creative studio in action.
