Join an array of presenters focussing on providing access to education for SEND children and young people.
About this Event

Hosted online in a private Facebook group this event features a wide range of presenters covering specific subject areas such as literacy and music as well as those focussing on a wider topic such as mental health or diversity. Many presenters also have first hand experience of the education system as a neurodivergent or disabled individal.

The conference aims to bring together educators and support them to examine their own practice of inclusion and provide them with ideas and skills to improve the inclusive nature of their school or classroom.

Attendees will have access to all the included presentations from the 1st October to 31st October 2023. You will also be able to ask questions and comment on the presentations to personalise your experience.

Once you have booked your tickets please request to enter the Facebook group immediately, you will need to use your ticket number for this. Those who are accessing through a school ticket will also need to provide their school email address.

Important access information:

Purchasing a ticket will entitle you to join the private Facebook group dedicated to this event. This group is the virtual room in which the conference will be held. Those inside the room will be able to view the presentations, those outside will not.

Once you have purchased a ticket please request access to "The Access to Academic Learning Conference" Facebook group immediately, by clicking on the highlighted text here. You will need to provide your ticket number as you make this request. You will be admitted within 24hrs of requesting access.

Note: If you wait to request access you may experience difficulties getting into the event on time as Facebook only allows 50 people in per day. If you do not see a request to enter your ticket/order number pop up when you request entry to the group please try again (sometimes the pop up is hard to see on phones, or sometimes pop up blockers obscure it. You will not be admitted into the event until you have provided your order number).
