To kick off Chicago Coffee Fest, please join Acaia at Tailwind Roasting for one evening of transformed filter coffee and wine in a casual environment with industry professionals and coffee lovers alike. Fat Miilk and Intelligentsia will be brewing up their faves, and we’ll be experimenting with wine. Come say hi, eat some snacks, and experience the first Midwest tasting of the upcoming Acaia innovation, the Horizon.

The Horizon instantly transforms the atmospheric environment inside the cup. It uses an integrated pressure sensor and active modulation to create a controlled low-pressure environment, removing oxygen and carbon dioxide while keeping delicate aromatic compounds. This results in smoother mouthfeel, rounded acidity, and enhanced natural sweetness, revealing the coffee’s intrinsic flavor. The Horizon is now available for pre-order.
