Join us for a fun and interactive Beginner Adult Harp Class at Southtown Music Studio inside Mercury Project! Whether you've always dreamed of playing the harp, are simply looking for a new ways to wind down at the end of the day or are looking for ways to bring calming energy to others lives, this class is perfect for you. Pamela, our experienced instructors has been playing harp for 15 years and has a degree in Music Education from Berklee College of Music. They will guide you through the basics of harp playing, from proper hand positioning to reading sheet music. No prior musical experience is required, so don't worry if you're a complete beginner, but do expect to become part of a learning journey over time. Those interested in learning harp are welcome to continue learning with a weekly Adult Beginner Harp Class that starts Thurs Dec 7, 2023. We will take a break for the holidays and start up again around Feb 1.
A few things to know:
-You must have a harp to participate. If you don’t have a harp consider taking my Build a Harp class starting Nov. 5 Registration ends Oct 15. This is because the harps need time to be ordered and shipped to SATX.

-We meet weekly on Thursday from 6-7pm.
