🟡 RNLI Mayday Mile Aberdeen Challenge!
We'll be hosting our very own Mayday mile challenge down on the beach front on Saturday the 16th of May.
Follow the Yellow Welly Trail and get tips from our water safety team on how to stay safe in and around the water. Walk, run, jump, cycle or dance your way through a mile and help our RNLI volunteers save lives at sea this summer.

Join us with the whole family for what we're sure will be a fabulous day out.
Location:
The event will take place between two points on the beach:
In front of the Scot Surf trailer (what3words: ///rode.rescue.people)
Beach tunnel off Accommodation Road (what3words: ///opera.dash.bolt)
Participants can complete their mile along this stretch of beach.
What can people see and do?
Take part in the mile in any way they choose and at any time between 10:00 and 14:00

A splash of yellow is encouraged, with participants invited to dress up and show their support for the RNLI in fun and creative ways
Children’s activities:
Yellow Welly Trail: Kids can take part in a fun challenge along the mile - how many yellow wellies can you spot?
RNLI Kids Quiz: A quiz featuring fun water safety and RNLI-themed questions. Entry is £1 per quiz sheet which can be purchased at both ends of the Mile from RNLI volunteers (pen included)
How can people donate?
Donate on the day via RNLI volunteers, who will be collecting with buckets and contactless card machines
Take part in the children’s quiz (£1 per sheet)
