About this Event
Book vs Film: Let's Debate - Project Hail Mary
Trailer:
Join us for our first LSFA movie night as we head to the cinema to watch Project Hail Mary and then stay to compare notes.
Based on the bestselling novel by Andy Weir (The Martian), Project Hail Mary follows Ryland Grace, a middle-school science teacher who wakes up alone in space with no memory and slowly realises he’s humanity’s last hope. Expect big science, high-stakes tension, unexpected friendship… and a lot of heart.
Whether you’ve read the book or are coming in fresh, this will be a great chance to discuss adaptation choices, character arcs, pacing, and how science fiction translates from page to screen.
Cinema listings are not yet live but this will be an evening showing on March 30th at the ODEON Luxe & Dine Islington, located at 13 Esther Anne Pl, London N1 1TU.
