About this Event
This nonprofit event is designed to decrease the suicide rate for at risk teenagers by providing a positive outlet, plan of action, and safe space to openly discuss the challenges faced while living in a group home.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops that caters to goal setting, college and career planning. We will invite attendees to have an open dialogue about past traumas, coping mechanisms, and self love lead by a licensed mental health professional. We will provide a mini photoshoot for each participant to help build self esteem and participants could use the the headshots for future endeavors like college resumes.
McQueen Foundation is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing a positive outlet for at risk youth. The foundation curates events, classes, and provides resources that aid the next generation in the direction of success.
