About the event

This presentation will cover the public health lens through which Dr. Piquero has studied crime and violence, especially domestic and gun violence, before/during/after the COVID-19 pandemic.

About the speaker

Dr. Alexis R. Piquero serves as Acting Chair of Sociology and Criminology, Professor in the Department of Sociology & Criminology and Arts & Sciences Distinguished Scholar at the University of Miami in Florida.
