A Pond as Deep as Hell re-contextualizes Shakespeare's Measure for Measure (a play that originally centers on men’s experiences with female trauma) to center the women in question.

Join the company of Shaxberd to workshop scenes from the upcoming production of the adaptation that reframes Shakespeare's Measure for Measure to highlight the gaslighting and manipulation of Isabella.

Help shape this new adapted work through a presentation and discussion of this classic work. There will be a full workshop of the adaptation August 26th - 28th at the Armory Center Theatre.

Free light refreshments will be served.

COVID-19 safety protocols are still in practice: proof of vaccine or a test result, masking when possible.

The space is wheelchair accessible and we are planning to have ASL interpreters and/or captioning.
