About this Event
Stepping into a New Time of Alliance with Ancestral Knowledge Holders
This time of deep crisis requires people who don't just talk about a different world but act to build one. When was the last time people from around the world, carrying this deep commitment, stepped into a real dialogue space organized by Indigenous ancestral knowledge holders, around the co-creation of a new path forward for humanity? A path of respectful partnership between the best of our worlds, ancestral and contemporary, working together for a common good. A space for weaving human connection and dream together.
This is what is being called into being in Girona, Northern Spain, September 9–13, during the World Ayahuasca Forum. This is not an event. It is the ground for alliance building, for organizing as a movement.

The mandate is clear: bring together ancestral knowledge holders from 30 Indigenous nations with people from around the world who carry a deep commitment to building a world in balance - from the fields of systems change, regeneration, philanthropy, healing, science, policy, psychedelic medicine, and community building. The spiritual leaders are requesting us all to join forces. This dialogue session will open a window into this living process and how we can all step into a New Time of Alliance.
Benjamin De Loenen - ICEERS
For the past 23 years, his work has been dedicated to addressing critical challenges related to the globalization of traditional Indigenous medicines. His deepest commitment is to ensure that the path of collective stewardship strengthens all communities involved, fostering alliances between ancestral and Western knowledge systems in service of collective healing and a regenerative future. In 2009, Benjamin founded the non-profit ICEERS (iceers.org) as the principal vehicle to bring this mission into the world. From 2022, he served as Interim Co-Director of the Indigenous Medicine Conservation Fund (IMC.fund) during its formative years, until Indigenous Co-Directors assumed leadership in 2024. He is the author of the documentary Ibogaine – Rite of Passage (2004) and Ayahuasca Reframed (2012), is a TEDx speaker, and has lectured at conferences worldwide. Since 2019, Benjamin has focused on deepening his study of Indigenous onto-epistemologies through alliances with ancestral knowledge holders, with a commitment to bringing his life, relationships, and work into alignment with the learnings of this path.
