About this Event
There are many things in our environment that we are not sure how to use. We overlook W**d-like plants everyday that are often not only safe to ingest, but medicinal. This is a free opportunity to identify the plants available on the land and create something from them.
On April 14th from 6-8pm, we will gather to honor our ancestors and the land. Our ancestors knew that what is above us and below us has value. They knew the importance of being present in nature to breathe, see, and tune into our surroundings. Considering the cycles and slowing down to take in the details allows us to tap into our abundance as entrepreneurs and life-long learners.
Participants on a Forager’s Botanical Journey can expect to gain both practical knowledge and a deeper connection to land, lineage, and creativity. Here’s what they’ll walk away with:
- Foundational Foraging Knowledge
- Greater Awareness of the Local Environment
- Hands-On Creation
- Connection to Ancestral Wisdom
- Mindfulness Techniques
- Sense of Empowerment
