A Day for Cultivating Nourishment and Wellbeing with bruni davila

bruni will be teaching in person in Sacramento. Please refrain from using any fragrances or scented products that day.

This will be a day of staring anew in the simplicity and stillness of each moment. Supported by wise intention, we will nourish the mind/heart, body and one’s inner life. Brief instructions will be given for sitting (stillness) and walking (movement) meditation. There will be Dharma reflections, and time to harvest the collective wisdom through inquiry. Some practice discussions will be offered during the walking periods. All levels of meditation experience are welcome.

This retreat is offered on a sliding scale of $30 - $150, but no one is turned away for lack of funds. Use the sliding scale option to regsiter or contact the coordinator, Julie, at [email protected] for a full scholarship.

bruni dávila has practiced Insight Meditation and Zen since 1995. She/they was trained and empowered to teach by the Insight Meditation Society (IMS) and Insight Meditation Center (Redwood City). bruni has been guided and supported by many wonderful teachers and saṅghas, her ancestors of Puerto Rican heritage, and the natural world. bruni teaches mettā and vipassanā retreats in English and Spanish, and is grounded in the teaching of Mahasi Sayadaw and Sayadaw U Tejaniya. She is drawn to and inspired by long retreat practice and Dharma in daily life. bruni also leads a Rainbow sangha (LGBQ) and BIPOC sangha for Spirit Rock
