About this Event
Join us at Glad Day Bookstore, the world's oldest bookstore specializing in queer literature, for an early evening of beautiful chamber music! In this hour long event, we’ll be performing Claude Debussy’s String Quartet alongside a dreamy Christmas-inspired work by Rachel Laurin, a French- Canadian organist, and a fiery piece by Nicky Sohn, a rising star composer based in Houston, Texas.
This concert is not just about incredible music; it’s also a chance to raise awareness for Glad Day’s fundraiser to keep their doors open. Glad Day has been a vital LGBTQ+ cultural hub for decades, and your support is crucial in ensuring it continues.
Donate today to help keep this landmark space thriving: www.gladday.ca/savegladday. Come for wonderful music, stay for the community and to meet the musicians, and support a treasured Toronto institution!
