About this Event

In year 13 of holding community events, the August Wilson & Beyond Seminar returns to Joe Turner's Come & Gone. Set in 1911, Herald Loomis arrives with his daughter at a Pittsburgh boarding house. As they connect with the other residents, pasts surface, and new songs are born.

The event includes catered lunch, staged reading performance of selections from the play by Theatre in the X, and multigenerational small group discussions led by the 2025 class members.
