9/11 Remembrance "Stair Climb" RUCK March

Join us as we honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders and civilians who lost their lives on September 11th. The M-Hill RUCK March is a symbolic stair climb, representing the 110 stories of the Twin Towers. Participants will ascend M-Hill, walking through a corridor of fire trucks and climbing together in unity and remembrance.

The morning will begin with opening ceremonies at 8:30 AM, including the Presentation of Colors by the Rapid City Fire Department Ceremonial Guard, the National Anthem performed by a local artist, and remarks from community leaders and those personally impacted by 9/11.

The climb will begin at 9:11 AM, led by Rapid City Fire Department UTVs, with hydration stations along the route. Whether you climb, walk, or simply stand in support — your presence helps keep the memory of that day alive.
