6th Annual Big Sioux Brewing Society Summer-Fest
Please join us for the 6th annual Big Sioux Brewing Society Homebrew-fest.
Location for this year's fest will be WoodGrain Brewing Co - East Sioux Falls lawn.
This is an event for Homebrewers to serve and compete and also FREE for any Craft Beer Drinkers that would like to sample local homebrewers creations and vote for their favorite one.
*ON TO THE ENTRY INFORMATION*
*Participating homebrewers will provide at least 5 gallons of the same homebrew for sampling and anything associated with pouring the samples (kegs, CO2, jockey box/picnic tap, or bottles/growlers, ice, table, etc). Sample cups will be provided by Big Sioux Brewing Society. One beer per participant.
• Brewers using glass are to bring their own bottle openers and will dispose and store glass appropriately. Empty bottles must be stored inside a storage container, so they don’t get broken!
*MAXIMUM OF 40 HOMEBREWERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE. First come basis.
*Prizes will be presented for Peoples Choice, Brewers Choice and Brewery Choice winner.
*Peoples Choice and Brewers Choice will be awarded a small prize. The Brewery choice will have a small prize package and will have their beer brewed at WoodGrain Brewing Co.
*ENTRY WILL BE A $5.00 ENTRY FEE. This will help cover the cost of the event itself. Any money after expenses will be given back to the homebrewers that win. Please see https://www.bigsiouxbrewingsociety.com/event-entry... for the entry form.
*Alternate entry. Email [email protected]. Put BS2/WoodGrain Summer-Fest Participant 2026 in the subject. (Meads, Ciders, Wine, and Beer are allowed to be poured, but only beers will be judged for the Brewery Choice Winner. If the Brewery winning beer is brewed with Kveik yeast, an alternative yeast will be used to brew on the WoodGrain system.)
*Include Beer name, Beer style, ABV, IBU, Brewery name, a pic of your logo if possible and Homebrew club association.
